“Zamanın Katmanları” adlı çalışma, Paul Gauguin’in “Nereden Geliyoruz? Neyiz? Nereye Gidiyoruz?” tablosuna çağdaş bir yanıt niteliğindedir. Çocuk figürleri, hayvanlar ve gündelik nesneler, geçmiş, şimdi ve geleceğin kesiştiği bir görsel düzlem yaratır. Kompozisyon, belleğin parçalı ve çok katmanlı yapısını görünür kılarak varoluşun döngüsünü sorgular. Eser, izleyiciyi hem kişisel hem de evrensel düzeyde aynı sorularla yüzleştirir: Nereden geldik, kimiz ve nereye gidiyoruz?
“Layers of Time” is conceived as a contemporary response to Paul Gauguin’s “Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going?”. Children, animals, and everyday objects construct a visual space where past, present, and future intersect. The fragmented composition reflects the layered nature of memory while evoking the cycle of existence. The work invites the viewer to confront the same timeless questions on both a personal and universal level: Where do we come from, who are we, and where are we going?
