Tezer Özlü’nün Çocukluğun Soğuk Geceleri ve Yaşamın Ucuna Yolculuk eserlerinden ilhamla ortaya çıkan bu çalışma, bireyin içsel ve dışsal yolculuğunu maviyle çerçeveler. Cyanotype tekniğiyle 2.033 el baskısı kareden üretilen eser, iki bölümden oluşur: Zaman ve mekân bireyin dış dünyayla ilişkisini, hafıza ve benlik ise içsel yüzleşmesini temsil eder. Mavi, geçmişin soğukluğu ve duyguların derinliğini yansıtır. Eser, zaman, mekân, hafıza ve benlik arasında sezgisel ve görsel bir anlatı sunar.
Inspired by Tezer Özlü’s Cold Nights of Childhood (Çocukluğun Soğuk Geceleri) and Journey to the Edge of Life (Yaşamın Ucuna Yolculuk), this work frames the individual’s inner and outer journey through blue. The entire video is composed of 2,033 hand-printed frames using the cyanotype technique, the piece unfolds in two parts: time and place represent the individual’s relationship with the external world, while memory and self reflect an inner confrontation. Blue mirrors the coldness of the past and the depth of emotion. The work offers a visual and intuitive narrative between time, place, memory, and self.
