Deniz, sonsuz bir tekrarın mekânı; dalgalar ise zamanın döngüsel doğasını hatırlatan birer nabız atışı. Bu kıyıda, doğa ile insanın izleri arasındaki sınır silikleşmiş. Taşlar, yıllar boyunca süren sessiz bir tanıklığın birikimi gibi yerleşmiş zemine. Aralarından yükselen ince bir çubuk neye ait olduğu belirsiz, ama varlığıyla bir şeylerin eksikliğine işaret ediyor. Ufukta beliren yapı, bir bekleyiş, bir terk ediliş ya da hatırlanmak istenen bir iz. Bu manzara, herhangi bir ana ait değil; geçmişin tortusu ile geleceğin belirsizliği arasında asılı kalmış bir ‘şimdi’. 

 

The sea is a place of endless repetition; the waves are pulses that remind us of the cyclical nature of time. On this shore, the boundary between the traces of nature and man is blurred. The stones have settled on the ground like the accumulation of a silent testimony that has lasted for years . A thin stick rising from between them is unclear what it belongs to, but with its presence it points to the lack of something . The structure looming on the horizon is a waiting, an abandonment or a trace to be remembered. This landscape does not belong to any moment; it is a ‘now’ suspended between the residue of the past and the uncertainty of the future.

Tekirdağ doğumlu. Namık Kemal Üniversitesi-Resim Bölümü mezunu. Eserlerinde terkedilmiş mekanların sessizliğinde yankılanan derin bir yalnızlığı işler. Mevsimlerin değişimiyle kaderine terkedilmiş yazlık evler, boş kumsallar ve ıssız araziler gibi mekanları kullanır. Bu mekanlar, yalnızlığın ve boşluğun tuvalde hayat bulduğu anlara dönüşür. Oraları unutulmuş eşyalarla birlikte resmederek yalnızlığın daha da yoğunlaşmış etkisiyle birlikte oluşan sessizliğin ve depresifliğin de , zaman zaman hepimizin içinde barındırdığını düşünür. İzleyici ise her bir tuvalde yer edinir ve yalnızlığın derinliğinde kendisi ile baş başa kalır. BASE’23, BASELECTED’24, YANKI ODASI gibi çok sayıda karma sergide yer aldı.
Born in Tekirdağ. Graduated from Namık Kemal University-Painting Department. In her works, she deals with a deep loneliness echoing in the silence of abandoned places. He uses places such as summer houses, empty beaches and deserted lands abandoned to their fate with the change of seasons. These places turn into moments where loneliness and emptiness come to life on canvas. By painting these places with forgotten objects, he thinks that the silence and depressiveness that occur with the intensified effect of loneliness also contains  in all of us from time to time. The viewer takes a place on each canvas and is alone with himself in the depth of solitude. He participated in numerous group exhibitions such as BASE’23, BASELECTED’24, ECHO CHAMBER.
