Vantage Point, nehir boyunca yaptığım keşif yolculuğundaki kendi deneyimlerimi paylaştığım mekânsal bir yerleştirme. Kızılırmak Nehri’ni merkezine alan uzun soluklu “Along The River” projesinden bir kesit olan bu anlatıda, izleyiciyi nehir boyunca yürüme eyleminin bir parçası haline getirmeyi ve karşılaşılabilecek manzaralardan bir kesit sunmayı amaçlıyorum. Mekânın merkezinde zemine yerleştirilen bir su imgesi, göz hizasında konumlandırılmış bir manzara ve odayı çevreleyen iki kanallı ses yerleştirmesiyle çok duyulu bir ortam oluşturuyorum.
Vantage Point is a spatial installation through which I share my own experiences from an exploratory journey along the river. In this narrative — a fragment from the long-term project “Along The River,” centered around the Kızılırmak River — I aim to make the viewer a part of the act of walking along the river and to reveal a glimpse of the landscapes that might be encountered. With a water image placed on the floor at the center of the space, a landscape positioned at eye level, and a two-channel sound installation surrounding the room, I create a multisensory environment.
