“Tutsak” isimli çalışma hareket ettikçe sınırları yeniden belirlenen, görünmez düzenlerin içinde devinen metaforik bir varlık. Doğduğumuz beden ve inşa ettiğimiz yapılar, konforun sessiz ağlarıyla örülmüş kafeslere dönüşür. Rastlantılar bu kafesin aralıklarında dolaşırken, kuşun ötüşü, salıncağın ritmi ve sessizlik anları, işin kendi sınırlı seçimleriyle birlikte, özgürlüğün yanılsamasını sahneler. Ancak her devinim, aynı döngüye geri dönerek varlık ile yokluk arasındaki kırılgan çizgide tutsaklığın derinliğini açığa çıkarır.
“Trace of Freedom” is a metaphorical entity that moves within invisible orders, constantly redefining its boundaries. Our bodies and the structures we build transform into cages woven from the silent threads of comfort. Chance navigates the gaps in these cages, while the bird’s song, the swing’s motion, and moments of silence, together with the work’s own limited choices, stage the illusion of freedom. Yet every movement returns to the same cycle, revealing the depth of captivity along the fragile line between being and nothingness.
