“Tahakküm” isimli çalışma kurgusal fotoğraflardan oluşmaktadır.Fotoğrafların odağında yer alan kadın imgesi, bedeninden bir parça olan saçlarını direnişin önemli bir parçası haline getirmektedir.Yapıtta, birçok farklı düşüncenin hakimiyet kurma alanı haline gelen kadın bedeni,dayatmacı kimliğe karşı sessiz ama bir o kadar da güçlü bir duruş sergilemektedir.Fotoğrafların renk ve dokusundaki keskinlik dikkatleri odakta yer alan kadın imgesinin duruşuna yöneltme çabası taşımaktadır.Bu duruş, görünür olma mücadelesinin kararlı bir ifadesi haline gelmektedir.
The work titled “Domination” consists of fictionel photographs.The image of the women at the center of the photographs turns her hair, apart of her body,into an important element of resistance.In the work,the women’s body,which has become an area for the domination of many different ideas,displays a silent yet immensely powerful stance against an impositional identity.The sharpness in the color and texture of the photographs aims to direct the focus to the posture of the woman’s image at the center of attention. This posture becomes a resolute expression of the struggle for visibility.
