Su, varoluşun en kadim tanığıdır. Sessizce akar, iz bırakmaz ama dokunduğu her şeyi dönüştürür. Bu eser, suyun yalnızca bir doğa unsuru değil, aynı zamanda ruhun kat ettiği içsel yolculukta bir aracı olduğunu varsayar.
Arınma, yalnızca kirden ya da tozdan sıyrılmak değil; belleğin, kimliğin ve duyguların da yıkanıp sadeleşmesidir. Eserde, günlüğe yazılan sözcükler suyla buluştuğunda, yavaşça silinip, yok olur. Fakat bu yok oluş, bir kayıp değil; bir yeniden doğuşun habercisidir.
Suyun içinde biçimini yitiren harfler, sadece fiziksel bir çözülme süreciyle yok olmaz; aynı zamanda bellekte, duyguda, zaman algısında bir dönüşüm başlatır. Mürekkebin suyla birleşerek dağılması, yazının kalıcılık iddiasından vazgeçtiği andır. Ancak bu vazgeçiş bir kayıptan çok, bir yeniden oluş imkânıdır. Dil çözülür, fakat anlam silinmez. Aksine, görünmeyenin alanında, yeni bir sezgi, yeni bir sessizlik biçimi doğar.
Bu çalışma, izleyiciyi sadece bir görsel deneyime değil, bir ritüele davet eder: Her yazı, silinmeyi bekleyen bir izdir. Her silinme, sessiz bir yeniden başlama ihtimalidir.
Water is the most ancient witness of existence. It flows in silence, leaving no trace, yet transforms everything it touches. This work envisions water not merely as a natural element, but as a vessel guiding the soul through its inner journey.
Purification is more than the shedding of dirt or dust; it is the cleansing and distillation of memory, identity, and emotion. Within the work, as the words inscribed in a diary encounter water, they slowly fade and disappear. Yet this disappearance is not a loss, but a gesture of renewal, a quiet herald of rebirth.
The letters dissolving into water are not erased solely through a physical process of disintegration; they set in motion a transformation of memory, of feeling, and of the perception of time itself. The moment ink disperses into water is the moment writing surrenders its claim to permanence. This surrender, however, is not a vanishing but an opening—an invitation to re-formation. Language dissolves, yet meaning endures. On the contrary, within the unseen, a new intuition emerges, a new form of silence takes shape.
This work invites the viewer beyond a visual encounter—into a ritual: Each word is a trace awaiting erasure. Each erasure holds the silent possibility of beginning anew.
