“Nilüfer”, temizlik ve saflıkla özdeşleşen bir formun yeniden yorumudur. Metalin ağırlığı ve yüzeyindeki pas, bu çiçeği alışılmış anlamından koparır. Saf olması beklenen bir şeyin kirlenmiş hali hem fiziksel hem sembolik bir çöküşe işaret eder.
“Lotus” is a reinterpretation of a form traditionally associated with purity and cleanliness. The weight of the metal and its rusted surface detach the flower from its conventional meaning. The corruption of something expected to be pure points to a collapse—both physical and symbolic.
