Manşetler, gazetelerin en görünür yerlerinde yer alırken bu çalışmada zemine taşınır. Dağınık şekilde yerleştirilen başlıklar, gündelik yaşamda çoğu zaman görmezden geldiğimiz haberleri temsil eder. İzleyicinin hareketini kısıtlayan formlar, haberlerin yalnızca zihinsel değil, aynı zamanda fiziksel bir baskı oluşturduğunu hatırlatır. Böylece haberler, ayak altında kalırken aynı anda geçişi engelleyen bir engele dönüşür. Yapıt, istemeden de olsa gün boyunca maruz kaldığımız haberlerin, bedenimizle kurduğu kaçınılmaz teması görünür kılar.
Headlines, usually occupying the most visible place in newspapers, are here relocated to the floor. Scattered fragments represent the news we tend to ignore in daily life, yet their presence restricts the movement of the viewer. The forms remind us that headlines create not only a mental but also a physical pressure. Thus, while lying underfoot, they simultaneously block passage, transforming into obstacles. The work reveals the unavoidable contact between the body and the news we are exposed to throughout the day, whether we wish it or not.
