Seride cam ve seramik ile ruh ve beden arasındaki sürekli dönüşüm halini anlatıyorum. Seramik formlar omurgayı, cam ise ruhu temsil ediyor. İki malzeme birbirini sarıp sarmalıyor. Bu etkileşimi, ne olduğunu bulma yolculuğundan bir an ve kendini oluşturmaya çalışan bir benliğin çabası olarak görüyorum. “Kucaklaşma”, ruh ve bedenin birbirini evriltmeye çalıştığı anları temsil ediyor.
In this series, I explore the constant transformation between spirit and body through glass and ceramics. Ceramic forms represent the spine, while glass symbolises the spirit. These two materials intertwine and envelop each other. I see this interaction as a moment in the journey of self-discovery and the effort of a self striving to form itself. “The Embrace” represents the moments when spirit and body strive to transform each other.
