Bu figürler iki kişi değil, bu benim. Belki ilk kez, kendime sarıldığım ve kendimi olduğum gibi kabul ettiğim an. Çocukken başkasından beklediğim sevgiyi, büyüdükçe kendimde aradım. Çünkü en çok kendi kollarıma ihtiyacım vardı. Bu sarılma bir avuntu değil; derin bir kabulleniş. Korkularımla, geçmişimle, eksiklerimle… Bu eser, içimdeki sessiz bir barış. Kendini sevmek, bitiş değil; yeniden başlamaktır.
These figures are not two people—this is me. Perhaps for the first time, the moment I embraced myself and accepted who I am. As a child, I searched for love from others; as I grew, I began to seek it within. Because I needed my own arms the most. This embrace is not a comfort, but a deep acceptance—with my fears, my past, my flaws. This piece is a quiet peace within me. Loving yourself is not an end, but a new beginning.
