“Kalan”, bir merdivenin katmanlı varlığı üzerinden, mekânın hafızanın izlerine dönüşmesini sorgulayan bir resim serisidir. Merdivenler, hem fiziksel bir geçiş hem de içsel bir dönüşümün metaforu olarak işlev görür. Görsel tekrarlar sayesinde, izleyici aynı yerin farklı halleriyle yüzleşmeye davet edilir. “Kalan” serisi, yaşanmışlığın izlerini mekansal bir formda sabitlemeye, gündelik olanın içindeki şiirsel katmanı ortaya çıkarmaya çalışan bir hafıza meditasyonudur.
“Remainder” is a series of paintings that questions the transformation of space into traces of memory through the layered existence of a staircase. Stairs function as metaphors for both physical transition and inner transformation. Through visual repetition, the viewer is invited to confront different states of the same place. The “Remainder” series is a meditation on memory that attempts to fix the traces of lived experience in a spatial form, revealing the poetic layer within the everyday.
