İnsanbirakşamüstüanidenyorulur isimli eserin kompozisyonunda lotusların üzerinde uyuyan bir kadın figürü yer almaktadır. Eser için hastalık tanısının konulduğu anda hissettiğim yorgunluğun hikayesi ve cümlesi diyebiliriz. Tedavi sürecinde kendimi sağaltmak, arınmak, dinlenmek adına kurgulanmış hayalimin anısıdır.
Sağlıklı olmak, İyileşmek ve lotuslar ya da nilüfer çiçekleri her daim benim baharımdır…
In the composition of the work titled “One Suddenly Grows Weary on an Afternoon,” there is a female figure sleeping upon lotus flowers. The work can be described as the story—and the sentence—of the exhaustion I felt at the very moment when my illness was diagnosed. It is the memory of an imagined scene I constructed during the treatment process, as a way to heal, to purify myself, and to rest.
To be healthy, to recover—and lotus or water lily flowers—are always my spring.
