“İki Kişilik Sessizlik” isimli çalışma insanın kendi içindeki yalnızlığını ve en yakınının yine kendisi olduğunu yansıtarak göstermektedir. Mekânın ortasındaki büyük masanın iki yanına konuşlanmış, iki farklı duruştaki aynı figürler; insanın içindeki çelişkiyi ve kaygıyı yansıtmaktadır. Figürlerin yaslandığı sert ve rahatsız ahşap hayatın dengesizliğine ve rahatsız edici olduğuna göndermedir. Eserde kullanılan uyumlu sıcak renkler ve iki tuvali birbirine bağlayan kırmızı çizgi de figürlerin birbirine bağlılığını gösterir.
The work titled “Silence for Two” reflects and shows the loneliness of a person within himself and that his closest person is himself. The same figures in two different postures, positioned on both sides of the large table in the middle of space, reflect the contradiction and anxiety within the human being. The hard and uncomfortable wood on which the figures lean is a reference to the instability and discomfort of life. The harmonious warm colors used in the work and the red line connecting the two canvases also show the interconnectedness of the figures.
