Sanatçının yaşadığı bölgedeki ormandan topladığı ağaç parçalarından oluşan seri, inşaat köpüğü ve seramik kiliyle parçalara eklemlenen anlatılardan oluşuyor. Bu anlatılar parçaların toplandığı bölgenin bitki ve hayvan envanterinden örnekleri betimlerken, imarlaştırma sonucu kapatılan orman bölgelerine ve sanatçının kişisel deneyimlerine izlek sunuyor. Devam etmekte olan “Hafıza” serisi, hem ormanın hem bölgedeki sürecin hem de sanatçının bölgeyle ilişkilenme biçiminin görsel belgeliğine ulaşır.
The series, composed of wood pieces collected by the artist from the forest in her living area, consists of narratives attached to the fragments using construction foam and ceramic clay. These narratives depict examples from the flora and fauna inventory of the region where the fragments were gathered, while also tracing the forest zones closed due to urban development and the artist’s personal experiences.
The ongoing “Memory” series reaches a visual documentation of the forest, the transformation process in the region, and the artist’s way of relating to the environment.
