“Evin Neresi?” isimli çalışma, bireyin mekânla kurduğu köklenme arzusunu odağına alır. Çocuk figürü, hem büyüme sürecini hem de mekânsal aidiyetin dönüşebilir doğasını temsil eder. Figürün elinde tuttuğu kartondan ev, bağ kurma isteğiyle inşa edilmiş kırılgan bir yuvaya işaret ederken; evin ters tutulması, yerleşme arzusu ile yönsüzlük arasında salınan içsel bir kararsızlığı görünür kılar. Bedene ve yapıya dolanan bitkiler ise doğanın sarıcı, kök salan ve iyileştirici gücünü; bireyin yeniden bağ kurma ihtimaliyle birlikte yansıtır.
The work titled “Where Is Home?” centers on the individual’s longing to root themselves within a space. The child figure symbolizes both the process of growing up and the mutable nature of spatial belonging. The cardboard house held in their hands represents a fragile shelter, built with a desire to connect. Its inverted position reveals an inner tension oscillating between the urge to settle and a sense of disorientation. The plants entwining the body and the structure reflect nature’s embracing, grounding, and healing power—echoing the possibility of reestablishing a bond with place.
