Mektup, bir mesaj, bir çağrı ve bir hatırlatmadır. “İyi Bak Dünyana” çağrısı da aslında bize gönderilen bir mektup gibidir. Ajur tekniğiyle şekillenen seramik zarf, görünür olanla gizli kalanı bir arada taşır. Boşluklar, farkına vardığımız gerçekleri; kapalı yüzeyler ise göz ardı ettiklerimizi temsil eder. Seramik zarfın topraktan yapılmış olması, bizi özümüze ve doğayla kurduğumuz köklü bağa geri çağırır. Bu eser, küçük eylemlerin birleşerek büyük değişimlere dönüşebileceğini hatırlatır. Boşluklardan sızan ışık, bireylerin atacağı adımları sembolize eder; kırılgan yapısı ise dünyanın aynı hassasiyetle korunması gerektiğini vurgular.
“Dünyadan Mektup” izleyiciye şu soruyu yöneltir:
Dünya sana bir mektup gönderse, içinde ne yazardı?
Ve sen, o mektubu açıp okumaya cesaret eder miydin?
A letter is a message, a call, and a reminder. The call to “Take Care of Your World” is, in fact, like a letter sent to us. The ceramic envelope, shaped with an openwork technique, combines the visible and the hidden. The gaps represent the realities we realize, while the closed surfaces represent what we ignore. The ceramic envelope’s being made of earth calls us back to our essence and our deep-rooted connection with nature. This work reminds us that small actions can add up to profound changes. The light seeping through the gaps symbolizes the steps individuals take, while its fragile structure emphasizes that the world must be protected with the same sensitivity.
“Letter from the World” poses the following question to the viewer:
If the world sent you a letter, what would it say?
And would you dare to open and read it?
