Latmos, binlerce yıllık kültürel ve doğal mirasın gölgesinde, madencilik faaliyetleriyle dönüşen bir coğrafyada yaşayan insanların sessiz tanıklığı. Bu proje, doğayla kurulan bağın kopuşunu, geleneksel yaşamın tehdit altındaki halini ve insanın değişen çevresine karşı direncini belgeliyor. Hem geçmişin izleri hem de bugünün gerçekliği, fotoğraflarda bir arada yer buluyor.

Latmos becomes a silent witness to the people living in a land overshadowed by thousands of years of cultural and natural formations, and overrun by mining activity. This project documents the rupture of our connection with nature, the extent of the threat to traditional life, and humanity’s resistance to its productive environment. The photographs embody both the traces of the past and the reality of the present.
