Bahçelere Yolculuk, farklı bahçe deneyimlerini duyusal, zamansal ve dokunsal katmanlar üzerinden araştıran bir tekstil kompozisyonudur. Sanem Odabaşı, doğal boyalarla renklendirilmiş kumaş katmanları, aplike,transfer baskı ve nakış teknikleriyle, bir tür harita ya da hatıra dokusu örer. Yaprak formları, yumuşak geçişli çizgiler ve topografik izler; doğada yürüyen bir bedenin, gözün ve belleğin izlerini taşır. Bu çalışma, bir bahçeye gitmenin sadece fiziksel değil, aynı zamanda duygusal ve zihinsel bir geçiş olduğunu hatırlatır. Bitkisel izler ve dikişler, zamanla dokunan sessiz tanıklıklara dönüşür. Bahçelere Yolculuk, hem gözlemin hem de içsel dönüşümün haritasıdır.
Journey to Gardens is a textile composition that explores garden experiences through sensory, temporal, and tactile layers. Using naturally dyed fabric pieces, appliqué, transfer printing, and embroidery, Sanem Odabaşı constructs a surface that resembles a map or a fabric of memories. Leaf forms, soft transitions, and topographic traces reflect the imprints of a walking body, a roaming gaze,and a remembering mind. This work reminds us that visiting a garden is not merely a physical act, but an emotional and mental journey. Botanical impressions and stitched details become silent witnesses woven over time. Journey to Gardens becomes a map of both observation and inner transformation.
