“Arzu” adlı çalışmanın odağında, tüketim ve tüketim pratiklerinin nitelikleriyle koşut olan postmodern toplumda, sadece nesnenin değil bireyin arzularınında satılabilir nesneye dönüşmesi bulunmaktadır. Bu düşüncenin temelinde nesnenin varlığından veya işlevselliğinden öte metaya dönüşen imgenin gösteriye dönüşmesi ve bireyin otantik kimliğinden uzaklaşıp mutluluğunu ve arzularının tatminini nesnelerde araması bulunmaktadır.
The work titled “Desire” focuses on the idea that in postmodern society, where consumption and its practices define social dynamics, not only objects but also individuals’ desires have turned into commodities. At the core of this notion lies the transformation of the image into a spectacle beyond the mere existence or functionality of the object itself, causing the individual to drift away from their authentic identity and to seek happiness and the fulfillment of desires within objects.
